Surge Media LLC ("Surge Media," "we," "us," "our") operates SMS and text messaging communications on behalf of its home service business clients ("Participating Businesses"). All SMS communications sent under this program are subject to the disclosures, consent flow, and terms documented on this page.
Surge Media is a marketing agency that builds and manages Facebook and Instagram lead generation ads for home service businesses. When a consumer submits an inquiry, either through the form above or through one of our Participating Businesses' Facebook/Instagram lead forms, that consumer's information may be used to send SMS messages related to their inquiry, in accordance with the consent they provide at the time of submission.

SMS opt-ins under this program are collected through two channels:
Submitting a phone number alone does not constitute SMS consent. The consent disclosure is shown as a distinct, non-pre-checked element. Users may submit the form without consenting to SMS by leaving the consent boxes unchecked. Form submission is not conditional on SMS consent.
When you submit a form for one of our Participating Businesses, we collect your name, phone number, email address, information about your service inquiry, and technical metadata (date, time, IP address).
We use your information solely to send the SMS communications described in this disclosure, connect you with the Participating Business you inquired about, fulfill and follow up on your service inquiry, and comply with legal obligations.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The data you provide through opt-in (your phone number and SMS consent) is used exclusively by the specific Participating Business whose form you submitted, and by Surge Media's messaging infrastructure providers (such as Twilio, our SMS carrier) solely for the purpose of delivering messages on behalf of that Business.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure cloud-based storage, restricted access controls, and routine security audits.
The Surge Media website may use cookies and standard web tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) to measure website and ad performance. These cookies do not collect phone numbers or SMS opt-in data.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and to withdraw consent to SMS messaging at any time by texting STOP. To exercise these rights, email dillon@surgemedia.dev.
This SMS program is operated by Surge Media LLC on behalf of its Participating Businesses. The SMS program sends customer service text messages and promotional text messages to consumers who have provided their phone number and affirmatively consented to receive SMS communications.
SMS Program Use Cases: The SMS program is used to send inquiry confirmations, appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, service updates, customer support communications, special promotional offers, and seasonal discounts related to home service inquiries (handyman, home repair, remodeling, merchant services, and related categories).
Message Types: Users who opt in may receive both transactional/customer service text messages and promotional/marketing text messages from the selected Participating Business.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the Participating Business and the user's interaction with it. A typical user may receive between 1 and 8 SMS messages per month.
To opt out of the SMS program at any time, Text STOP to any message you receive from a Participating Business. The opt-out keyword is STOP. Once you Text STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS communications from that Participating Business.
To re-subscribe after opting out, you must resubmit a new form and re-consent to SMS communications.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier apply to all SMS messages sent or received under this SMS program. Message frequency varies. Surge Media and its Participating Businesses are not responsible for any message and data rates, charges, or fees imposed by your wireless carrier as a result of receiving SMS messages under this program.
Carrier liability is expressly disclaimed. Wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages under this SMS program. SMS message delivery is dependent on the user's wireless carrier, signal strength, device, and network conditions. Surge Media and its Participating Businesses do not guarantee delivery of any specific SMS message and disclaim all liability for messages not received.
SMS messaging under this program is available only to users with a valid United States mobile phone number who are 18 years of age or older.

Surge Media reserves the right to update this disclosure, the consent language, and the SMS program terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
